Kerry to return to This Morning

Kerry Katona is to reappear on This Morning, following her controversial appearance on the daytime ITV1 show last year.

The ex-Atomic Kitten singer has been talking about her bi-polar disorder and the medicine she has to take which she says was responsible for making her slur on the programme.

Speaking ahead of her new MTV documentary What's The Problem?, Katona says the illness and her treatment for it has been 'trial and error' but her appearance on the show has helped turn her life around.

The 29-year-old mother-of-four, who lost 84lbs through liposuction and exercise towards the end of last year but is now a stone heavier, also says she's finally happy with her body.

The programme also features her brief split with hubby Mark Croft and Katona gets to discover the identity of her biological father but sadly not meet 62-year-old Ron Armstrong before his death from cancer.

At a special screening of the show, the reality TV star wiped away tears as she watched her foster parents Fred and Margaret Woodall describe her troubled childhood.

In the documentary, Mr Woodall says: 'I always thought you only came into care when you were 13, something like that, but you weren't really, you were in refuges before, this was going on your whole life really, no wonder you were traumatised.'

He continues: 'You've always been the type, Kerry, to laugh things off, look at it as if it were a joke, you've never dwelled on the problems you've had in the past'.

In tears, Kerry says to them: 'I wonder what I've done so wrong, going from being Queen of the Jungle to having a family, to being the most hated person in Britain.'

In the car on the way back, she tells the cameras: 'Tea on the table at five o'clock, Fred would help me with homework, it was like a proper mum and dad.'

Watching the programme from the front row at the screening in central London, Kerry - who had been laughing and joking with her husband until that point - appeared subdued and wiped away a few tears.
